Creating a birth plan is one of the most important and necessary things you should do to prepare for labor and delivery. You are in control and are entitled to the best labor experience possible. I always tell my clients that they should be giving extremely direct, clear and unapologetic orders about their wants and needs. Be as much of a diva as you need to be! A comprehensive birth plan helps to communicate the exact experience that you desire in order to feel the most safe and comfortable.
